Untruthful & Unethical

My wife was called for a job interview with City Auto Body earlier this week in March, 2008. She called them BEFORE the appointment to inform them and re-schedule when her car, due to no fault of her own broke down en-route to the appointment. They informed her that the position has been filled. Checking back with them the next day we learned that this was a lie and the position had not been filled. An obviously unethical, dishonest and unprofessional response. If City Auto Body lies to prospective employees and behaves unethically, then are they also lying to customers? Can they be trusted with your car? Can they be trusted in other areas of business, such as using high quality parts or not overcharging for labor? Something to consider...
