Rick at Rebel Engine is an honest mechanic. And, it is obvious to me that he takes great pride in his workmanship and how he runs his business; he always stands behind his work. I have been a customer for 10 years, and have always been very happy with his work. He has been working on cars for 35 years. When I bring my car in because it is making some noise, or for a scheduled service, I can be assured that he will additionally warn me if he sees anything else that may be wearing or that will need work soon. He will take care of your car and not try to gouge you. Isn't that the kind of mechanic anyone would want to have? He truly enjoys his customers and people come in just to talk to him even when they don't need him to work on their car. If it seems too good to be true...it's not.

Trust, Reliabilty and Affordable

My car's engine had a blown head. I needed someone who was trustworthy, reliable and affordable. As I shopped around, I came across Rebel Engine in Simi Valley, CA. I give it a shot since the owner Rick seemed so educated with his skills. My car came back running smooth and exceptional. Rick as earned my business going further and I recommend you see him too. You will not be diappointed!

I've been a client of Rebel Engine for almost 25 years now. The service is incredible, reliable, and Rick is honest and straightforward. Mechanics like Doug and Rick come around once in a lifetime - if you're lucky - and I feel I truly am! I have referred many people to Rebel with complete confidence. I've even compared other service centers with Rebel Engine. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had "recommendations" for engine work when I've taken my care in for tires somewhere else, but what I enjoy is asking for a printout of those recommendations and then taking them to Rick. He is always amazed at what other people try to sell me. Is it because I'm a woman? I don't know, but in all the years I've done business with Rebel, they've treated me with respect, and taught me about my cars and the service they need. I'm looking to purchase a new car for the first time in 15 years. I credit the longevity of my cars to Rebel and the outstanding service they provide, and my new purchase will be with Rick's advice and recommendation. It's just plain hard to find people you can trust as much as I trust Rick and Rebel Engine. I highly recommend Rebel for all you car repair needs.

If you are looking for an honest, professional, affordable automobile mechanic, just go to Rebel Engine and meet with the Owner, Rick James. I sold my home in the San Fernando Valley, purchased a manufactured home in a mobile home park in Simi Valley, decided to find a mechanic close to my new home so, I went to the office in my park.........gladly they referred me to Rebel Engine,which, by the way, was walking distance from my home. Naturally, I drove over after making the initial appointment. To his credit, Rick was warm, friendly, so knowledgable that we hit it off right away. It is always a pleasure to have my 1990 Toyota Celica serviced. I have referred another person in my park and she has taken both of her vehicles to Rick.............................she would not go anywhere else. Recently, I referred my son and it is my hope that he will continue taking his Honda to Rick. I am his mother and know what is best for him. Do you want the Best??????????????????? Knows His Stuff

Most people think it's hard to find an honest mechanic. I don't think that's true. Rick is honest, but I really think it's hard to find COMPETENT mechanics! Rick knows what he's doing--that's what's exceptional. Despite the fact that he's really good at what he does, he doesn't gold-plate the price. In other words, he's reasonably priced. Also, I believe he does not recommend unnecessary repairs.
